Dear Valued Customer, As you may have heard, on September 8, 2014, we confirmed that our payment data systems have been breached, which could potentially impact customers using payment cards at our U.S. and Canadian stores. On September 18, 2014, we confirmed that the malware used in the breach has been eliminated from our U.S. and Canadian stores and that we have completed a major payment security project that provides enhanced encryption of payment data at point of sale throughout our U.S. stores, offering significant new protection for customers. There is no evidence that debit PIN numbers were compromised or that checks were impacted. Additionally, there is no evidence that the breach has impacted stores in Mexico or customers who shopped online at HomeDepot.com. We are offering customers who used a payment card at a Home Depot store in 2014, from April on, 12 months of free identity protection services, including credit monitoring, beginning on September 19, 2014. We apologize for the frustration and anxiety this may cause you and we thank you for your patience during this time. For more information, please visit our website where you’ll find frequently asked questions, helpful tips, our Important Customer Notice, and information about how to take advantage of the free identity protection services, including credit monitoring. Should you have questions regarding the authenticity of this email or any additional questions over the coming days and weeks, please call 1-800-HOMEDEPOT. We hope this information is useful and we appreciate your continued support. The Home Depot |

Join the Fight to save Net Neutrality
Contact your State Senator and Representative. Today!!!!
Here's what you can say:
Hi. This is [name] from [state]. I’m one of your constituents. I strongly support net neutrality and I’m calling to urge you to ask the FCC to reclassify internet providers under Title II, and sign on to the Internet Freedom Letter being circulated by Sen. Angus King. Reclassification is the only way to actually establish the neutral and non-discriminatory internet that the FCC itself claims to be commited to. Thank you!
It's time to drive the message home once and for all!

Stop slow lanes from ruining the internet
Here’s the deal: The FCC is on the verge of allowing internet service providers (like the one you’re using right now) to build fast lanes for sites that can pay for them, leaving everyone else in the slow lane. This would be disastrous for anyone who uses the internet.
Luckily, you can do something about it. You can urge the FCC to establish rules for the internet that don’t discriminate by class and ask your U.S. senator to do the same.
Just fill out the form below to automatically sign the letter, and then we’ll put you through to them. Easy.

VIBER instead of Facebooks Messenger
OK, so FB has their Messenger app in order to message each other. Now FB blocks your messages on every device (other than the PC) unless you install their Messenger (which has privileges to you and your friends info, even your camera and Mic). I refuse to install it.
Instead, I recommend Viber. It is free and, via wifi, you can make calls, text and video chat (anywhere in the world...FREE!). I have used it many times, even with my Niece while in Europe. Doesn't cost anything because it's Wifi... so I can even use it on my tablet that is Wifi only.
