Is Sony to blame for these last weeks of Outage?

Sony's Network was Hacked, to most of us, by now, this is not news. The snail pace at their recovery and coming forth with information is their own doing. They could truly use a great PR campaign at this time. They, perhaps, have done more damage to themselves than the Hackers have done to the rest of us.

The problem's not just for Gamers, but this hack is costing millions for companies like Capcom with online game-play and other companies that utilize multi-player realms through the PSN.

Trust is now an issue for Gamers and Companies alike. Sony might be putting together the best kick-ass Security system, but how far does that go when you've frightened off game developers, Investors, and the gaming community?
Can we trust that, not only our information is secure, but that any future glitches won't be greeted with another lock-out. This is worst than any soured Union Contract Negotiation. We've all been locked out.
Yeah, I get it, locked out for our own protection.
So why is it we lack the feeling of security? Or honesty?

Is it truly better to be silent and stealth? Or should Sony walk with a Big Stick and rally us to this... what is that date of return???

One ray of sunshine is that the PSN hack has awakened the entire Online World to vulnerability. It's a beacon for future standards and safeguarding.
The PSN hack has led many companies, not just Sony, to evaluate how secure their networks are.

Bottom line: Hackers suck! It's the Hackers that unleashed a whole can of whoop ass on us all. They wanted to take a little (or a lot) from you and I. Well, they have.
While Sony has had to endure Earthquakes, a major Tsunami and now this, one question still stands out there, "Why was our info accessible?"
