I am constantly kicked out of Multi-player Sessions with a Loss to Server.
For the past couple months I have been working on my Fios Router/Modem and PS3.I have done much research. Hours on the phone with Verizon (the provider of my internet and router/modem) and Sony, and still I get kicked out during sessions.
Noting I have a "Strict Nat Type" from EA during Dead Space 2 sessions.
Ok,
I have a Nat 2 connection.
Here is what my NAT definition investigation has turned up:
NAT 1: PS3 is directly connected to the internet
NAT 2: PS3 is correctly connected through a router to the internet
NAT 3: PS3 is incorrectly connected through a router to the internet
NAT 2: PS3 is correctly connected through a router to the internet
NAT 3: PS3 is incorrectly connected through a router to the internet
I've used WiFi to connect my PS3 and just hardwired into the PS3.
Since I am using a Router, I am getting Nat 2 (both WiFi or Direct).
Changing Router Channels during WiFi sessions did help, but I am in a highly populated area and I've noticed that all Channels get used throughout the day.
Using WIFI Analyzer, an App on my Android, has helped me to see what Channels are in use during my Sessions, helping me pick the least trafficked Channel.
I've yet to fully test this hardwired, as I just set that up today. And I will go through the Router and not directly through the internet.
I hope this works or else I'll need to check into Port forwarding and I'm really through with this already.
So I'll keep my fingers crossed for now.
Any thoughts and technical support appreciated.
