Dark Souls Guide Book issues

Future-Press, the publishers of the official Guide Book for Dark Souls acknowledge an issue with Registering the book.
Why would you want to Register this Guide Book?
It's the only way to take full advantage with QC scan codes to videos and hints.
In an acknowledgement letter sent to me they wrote,

Hello,

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we know about the problem. Right now we are working on a solution to get the registration for Dark Souls working and hope it will be fixed in a few days.
